Tanner was born on October 25th, 2008 and was a certified pedigree Shetland Sheepdog with sable and white markings. Tanner was bred to be a show dog and debarked early on. As Tanner grew, his previous owners noticed deformities that would keep him from being shown and they decided to adopt himout. Tanner came to live with us in December of 2009 and has been with us ever seen nice.

Tanner our beloved sheltie of 11 years, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his devoted owner and with his fur buddy brothers and sister by his side. You've heard the saying ‘a dog is a man's best friend,’ but we believe that somewhere along the way, Tanner became family. Tanner was loved by all that met him as his presence was known the minute he entered a room. 

Tanner’s passing was so sudden and quick. We find comfort in knowing he didn’t linger on in pain or discomfort and that the days before his passing were spent laying in the sun and sitting by his owner’s side - two of his favorite pastimes.  

We are comforted by the fact that Tanner lived a full life and spent every moment knowing that he was loved and adored.  Tanner was a true and faithful companion that will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
