Our Beautiful Sabrina (Breena)has joined all the loved rescues who went over the rainbow bridge before her. Breena adopted her “Furever” family on August 31st, 2013.
Breena and her sister Wendy were girls about town. Every Saturday they visited the Aquarium at Bass Pro, shopped at Home Depot and Lowe’s to buy their beef jerky, making friends with all the greeters. At home Breena and Wendy used to wait eagerly for Rick to mow the neighbor's yard so they could get a treat from him.
Breena loved food, everything, but mostly corn on the cob, popcorn, cheese, squash, chicken and rides to get ice cream on a summer day.
Her favorite pastimes were sitting on the back deck soaking up the sun on a hot summer day, or sitting in front of the fireplace on a cold winter day, going for walks, car rides and chasing rabbits in the backyard. Everyday like clockwork she would sit at the window waiting for her dad to come home from work. Once the truck door slammed, the greeting barks would start, the whole neighborhood knew when dad was home. Breena and dad had a special bond & spent a lot of time together. Whether it was outside doing yard work or in the basement doing projects, playing pool and working out, she was always by his side. Breena also had a fondness for helping mom in the kitchen, always under her feet while she cooked and waiting for any crumb to drop.
Sabrina will be deeply and heartbrokenly missed by her dad Paul, mom Mary and her rescue sister Wendy. Human siblings Matt, Amanda and Andrew. Life will never be the same for our family without Beautiful Breena, her loyalty and unconditional love.
