Rocky Crosby passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his dad Mike, mom Ashley and fur sister Nala.
Rocky came into our lives nearly 12 years ago when his mom and dad first met and brought so much happiness to everyone. To know him was to love him. He was full of life and the silliest, gentlest boy with an endless supply of kisses. Over these years he had earned the nicknames Rock, Roof, Roofy, Rockaferd and Roffle.
Rocky faithfully served as a guard dog all his life and adamantly barked at every amazon delivery person, squirrel and mailman who dared mess with his family. He hated the vacuum and taking baths. He loved walks, car rides, camping trips, warm clothes fresh out of the dryer, tennis balls, snuggling, sitting on the porch in the mornings while mom and dad had coffee and sunbathing. Most of all, Rocky loved his family and was happiest when he was with them.
Our sweet boy, we will cherish the memories and love you gave us for the rest of our lives. Every little thing reminds of us you. We miss the sound of you trotting along the hardwood floors, the smiles, the donkey kicks when you wanted more room in the bed and the loving look in your bright eyes. The pain feels endless but we take comfort knowing you are still with us as our guardian angel. You were the absolute goodest boy in the entire world and we love you with all our hearts.
