Yogi Reilly, affectionately known as The Mayor of Elizabeth Street and Ooggi, entered this world on April 4, 2010 and joined our family when Kar was walking home from the Y-Field and saw free kittens. After hiding him upstairs for weeks, the secret was out and he immediately stole our hearts and the hearts of all who met him. He spent his days patrolling the neighborhood stopping for treats at Debs house and a few others. He truly believed the entire neighborhood was his home and could be found sleeping on everyone’s porches and even sneaking into houses. Yogi had a huge personality and was very lovable but on his own terms. Some of his favorite places to snuggle were wherever he could find sunshine, on Timmys chest and on my desk to name a few. He leaves behind many broken hearts: his family Tim, Jackie, Kay, Kar and TJ, his “big” brothers Maximus, Stanley and his “little” brother Zeus and sister Maggie and special neighbors Madison and Mason who will miss ending their walks with a Yogi visit <3. Yogi passed away peacefully at home in one of his favorite places on Wednesday October 23, 2024.Yogi, you were most certainly one in a million, we are heartbroken without you and miss you horribly, may you rest in peace over the rainbow bridge, until we meet again
