Max Jones
March 2013- April 29. 2022
Max peacefully crossed over the Rainbow Bridge with Terry & Kathy by his side & was greeted by PepperAnn Jones. Max passed after a yearlong battle with Cancer. Max, also know affectionally as Mr Sassy Pants or Mr Man, came into our life at 6 months old as a rescue from Finger Lakes SPCA. For the first 6 months of his life, he was tied to a tree, never saw the inside of the house, until he was rescued by the dog control officer. When we first brought him home, he did not even know how to come in the front door. The first 10 minutes in our backyard he popped our inflatable pool, chewed the kayak handles, BBQ gas hose, & was running around with the garden hose in his mouth. After a few trying months we all got used to each other & he made us laugh every day with his antics. Terry took him for frequent walks to Hoopes Park & Skaneateles Lake, & to go swimming, which he got one last swim the day before he passed in 44 degree weather, much to Dad’s disapproval.
Max leaves many who loved him behind, including Terry, Kathy & Willow Jones, oh, & the family cats, Boo & Mocha, who he chased through the kitchen & through the cat door, which he broke, shoving his head through. He also leaves behind many friends & extended family members, as well as his special girlfriends who he greeted with slobbery greetings, Diane, Shelly, Maria, Dana, & Meghan, & the girls at Bass pro Shop
Thank you to Brookside Veterinary Clinic for assisting with his peaceful passing & his care through the past years.
We hope you are enjoying unlimited supply of seasoned Roast beef slices.
And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand….
Rest in Peace, Mr Sassy Pants, you will be missed greatly.
