Madison Maye,
Madison passed away peacefully in the morning, on Friday, March 27, 2020, alongside her loving family. We loved her so much. She was a spunky, loving, mysterious, little cat amongst too many other things to count. She lived a long life for a cat (over 18 years), and yet it was still feels like too short of a time. Although Madison never had a favorite toy to play with, she did have many favorite lounging spots instead; like the windowsill above the sink looking out at the birds and deer in the backyard, or in front of the dryer (only while it was running, otherwise she was in the laundry basket). Madison always kept everyone on their toes and guessing what was coming next.
She left behind her human dad (Jerry), human mom (Ruth), two human sisters (Hailey and Emma), and human brother (Jack); along with her adopted siblings (Chloe, Lola, Alice and Archie) who she welcomed into the family with loving, open paws over the years.
If there is a cat heaven, we hope she is sinking her teeth into a big, fat, juicy sausage patty that she just stole fresh out of the frying pan off the stovetop; followed by her big freshly brewed bowl of shower water (since she wouldn’t drink anything else). Madison is predeceased by her cat brother, Max, and dog sister, Maggie. Our greatest joy in all of this is knowing that she will be reunited with both of them once again over the Rainbow Bridge.
Heavenly Father, Creator of all things, thank you for having entrusted us with such a loyal friend. Thank you for letting this beautiful animal teach us unselfish love. Thank you for the memories we can recall to brighten our days for the rest of our lives. Finally, in gratitude, we return our cherished companion to you. Amen.
We love you sweet girl, thank you for being ours and joining our family. Rest Sweetly.
