Lilo passed peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge with her family at her side on Saturday morning October 31, 2020. Lilo came into our home as a rescue almost 17 years ago. She was a pretty girl with her beautiful colors and markings as well as her unique feet, back feet that looked like rabbits feet and her multiple toes, 6 toes in the front and 7 in the back. She was persnickety at times preferring not to be held or picked up, just to be petted only the way she wanted to be petted. She would come running at the sound of cellophane crinkling while making sandwiches and always got her pieces of roast beef along w her furry brother, Max the dog. She enjoyed her mornings with Terry while everyone else was asleep, but never on his lap, just at his side being petted, again, like she wanted to be petted, and only as long as she wanted to be petted. She would like sauntering past Max while he was resting on the floor, just to tease him, and get him going, but he never laid a paw on her….she will be missed by her human family and I think Max as well, as he looks for her to annoy at times. She will be joining her previous furry brother at the Rainbow Bridge, Pepper Anne and Jasper Jones…
