Keesha Marie Siracusa June 2008 - May 2021
We adopted Keesha Marie and her litter mate sister Cami, from the Henrietta Petsmart.
We were intentionally looking for a calico, which Cami is. Keesha was a beautiful Domestic
Short hair Tuxedo girl. Keesha seemed protective of her sister when we first found them at
Petsmart. Keesha was laying on top of Cami, covering her face. When we discovered these
adorable siblings, we had to have both of them! We brought them home to meet their sister dog,
Bailey. It was love at first sight for all three. When we adopted her step siblings the following year,
Miley, Lexi & Ollie, Keesha was sometimes jealous. But, for the most part, she accepted these Kittens.
Keesha had an incident when she was only a year old that could have taken her from us. Luckily she
recovered well. Keesha was a very determined cat. No matter what illness she encountered, she
fought hard. She was quite the toughie.
Keesha & her sister are seven-toed beauties. Unfortunately for Keesha, she had issues with her front
paws turning under. When she was about 3-4 years old, we had to amputate 3 of the offending toes to
help her walk. Because of this, over the years, Keesha would like to put her foot in the water bowls and
soak her foot! Many times she would come up to us, literally soaking wet from this bath time.
She was a snuggle bunny and loved to be held, petted or sit next to you. Keesha was another one of my
crafting “helpers”. She liked to sleep in bed with us, leaning against your shoulder, between us or at our feet.
This past year, Keesha decided she needed to sleep in my arms. She would always come to you when you
called her name. if you said “Keesh” in a loud voice, she would crinkle her little nose at us and answer
back with the sweetest cry. These are memories we hold dear. Keesha was a well behaved girl and liked to
play. She will be missed by us and especially her sister’s Cami & Bailey.
We Love you “Keesh”…….
