Indio was born on the Island of Isla Mujeres in Mexico. He was rescued by his mommy while she was on vacation and was transported from the beach to the cold winter of Upstate NY. He surprisingly adjusted to NY winters well. One of his favorite past times was snowshoeing the trails at Bear Swamp. In the summer his favorite activities were summiting mountains (Ampersand being his first and favorite) in the adirondacks and resting by the campfire at night. Whenever he heard a four wheeler turn on he was ready to go run with it and there was nothing that could stop him. As he got older and began slowing down, he found other activities to entertain himself such as sniffing, eating gross things and walking around the fields near his house. He was the best friend to his mommy, always by her side, and an important member of his family. He is survived by his mommy, dad, brother, horse and two barn cats. He will forever be in our hearts and always in our memories.
