Daisy Hutchings

February 3, 2005 ~ August 23, 2023

Our sweet, beautiful baby girl passed away on Wednesday August 23, 2023, with her mommy and daddy Mike and Kathryn Hutchings by her side. She was 18 ½ years old.  We know Daisy is now with her sisters Molly and Sam. 

Daisy was a very smart special girl.  She had such a huge personality.  She had a constant purr letting us know how happy she was.  When she would go to her doctor, she would purr so loud her doctor had a hard time listening to her heart. 

She loved working home with her mommy during the Pandemic.   She would sit in the chair right next to her mom’s computer desk until we eventually ordered her a pet chair so she could take naps next to her mom while she worked.  

Daisy loved taking naps with her daddy, sleeping on her mom’s pillow and most recently for the last six months, she loved being spoon fed water with hard food in it just like eating a bowl of cereal.  Her mom would spoon feed her any time she wanted. She would come and sit on her mat in front of her bowl and wait by her spoon. 

Her other favorite thing was when she discovered delectable treats.  We referred to them as kitty pops.  She would come downstairs every night at 7:00 pm and sit on her mat in the living room to wait for her kitty pop and then to get brushed. 

She loved being with us and ran our household.  She always knew when we needed her, and she would come and sit with us.  She was a wonderful nurse when we were sick.  She spent her days there for us and I am so grateful that when she got older and needed us that we were there to cater to her every whim. 

Her daddy always told her it takes a long time to grow a friend and a loyal unconditional friend she was. 

Our hearts are broken.  We will love you and will miss you forever.
