"Chuck" also known as Sir Charles, died peacefully in his home on July 3, 2022. His exact age was unknown, but he was well over 20 years old. Chuck had humble beginnings and lived in a beer cooler on (Grandmama’s) Elizabeth Kopec's back porch for a few months until his sparkling personality gained him access to the house.
Upon her passing, (Mom/Gammy) Victoria Kopec adopted him into her fold and loved him until her death.
From there, Chuck was cared for and loved by Sandra Shutter, who saw Chuck's inner beauty and celebrated it with him every day. Chuck is best known for his unique physical appearance and had only one ear and a stump where his other ear had been, having lost it to cancer. Chuck enjoyed having his stump lovingly rubbed by his dear friend and admirer, Bill Clark. He also survived by his two housemates, Madeline and Miss Clavel, a pair of Japanese Chins who were bred to be companions to members of the Japanese Royal Court, who begrudgingly and eventually accepted Sir Charles into their pack as their friend. We will miss you dearly Chuck and we love you.
