Cassie Kellogg Obituary

Cassie

Cassie was born September 27th, 2012 and crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully on March 16th, 2023 with her Mom and Dad by her side. Cassie was quite literally loved by everyone and had a unique way of making everyone smile and laugh with her silly and rambunctious personality. She loves companionship, getting belly rubs and treats. Pizza was her absolute favorite (her grandpa would give her bits of pizza growing up and she learned quickly how much she loved it.) She would accompany her mom in the massage room by laying on the floor and dozing off, being the best addition to the treatment room. She enjoyed laying at her dads' feet as he played his guitar, keyboard or Saxophone, or laying by grandpa’s feet as he read the newspaper. Her grandpa was one of her favorite people. She loved to sunbathe and just sit in her yard observing the comings and goings of the neighborhood, always loved being stationed at the windows watching what was going on. She loved walks, nighttime rough housing and night crawling (patrolling the yard at night.) She always needed to be the last one to come to bed so she could survey the house prior to going to sleep with us. She loved to sing in the morning before getting out of bed and talking that talk. The amount of times people have stopped what they were doing to tell us she was an utterly stunning dog was enormous. She enjoyed going to her mom’s grandparents nursing home in Syracuse while they were still alive and would strut the hallways loving every moment. She was perfect at giving affection and attention just the way you needed it. Her favorite toys were small rubber ducky’s and dirty socks. She leaves behind her 9-year-old sister and 1 year old sister, and her human sister who is still growing in her mom's belly. She was her mother's best friend from the moment they met when Cassie was just 6 weeks old. Our hearts and homes will never be the same without our beloved girl but she will be forever cherished and remembered. Her mom and dad cannot wait to hug and kiss her again.
