Boo 'Radley' Jones
June 26, 2023
Be the first to offer your condolences on Boo 'Radley''s Tribute Wall
Boo came into our lives as a tiny 2 pound stray, that we rescued along with his step siblings.
He was named after the Boo Radley character in the To Kill a Mockingbird book, due to his shy nature, we noted when we first rescued him.
He initially hid in our basement with Mocha, Tux, & Binx, until Tux & Binx found their adoptive homes.
He then ruled as Man of the house with Mocha as his sidekick, letting Mocha have his scraps when Terry would make Sunday breakfasts and his lunches.
He tolerated our dogs, Max and Molly, letting them know he was still Mr Man of the house.
He was my shadow, sitting in my office, on my keyboard, mousepad, or any clear corner of my desk to watch the bird feeder while I tried to make work calls while his fur was flying all over and he was stepping on my keys as I typed.
He would always run ahead of me. down the hall waiting to see where I was going, so he could join me while I brushed my teeth or head into to bed.
He often would settle in on my lap and give me kitty biscuits while causing me intense pain, which I never minded because I knew he was at his happiest then.
Boo left us very suddenly and unexpectantly, leaving Terry, Kathy, and Willow Jones grieving his loss along with his rescued siblings, Mocha and Molly.
He will be greeted at the Rainbow Bridge by the rescued pets that went before him to share stories of living with the Jones family.
And please remember, Adopt, Foster, Donate and be a voice for the voiceless, Pets are family too!
