Bodie Douglas Hauger

Bodie Douglas Hauger was born on June 26th, 2006 and passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on July 3rd, 2020 with his mom and dad by his side.

He lived in a lap of luxury, quite literally, as he insisted on snuggling with his family at all hours of the day. He enjoyed road trips to the lake to meet his friend Buddie and ride on the boat to watch people swim, even though he never wanted to get wet. If he heard a cheese wrapper rattle, he’d be at your feet waiting for his share. In his later years, he was relentless in being hand-fed his dog food. Bodie was very aware of the time of day, ensuring to have his biscuit in the morning while his dad drank coffee and prompting his mom it was time for his peanut butter treat in the evening. He finished the day with his nightly routine, consisting of endless kisses and butt rubs from Sofia, Mom and Dad.

His family is appreciative of his final police escort with lights by his uncle. He joins Pooh and Buddie across the Rainbow Bridge. He is survived by Emilie, Mark, Katie, Makenzie, Phil, Hannah, Julia and Sofia. He will always be remembered by his furry friends Ollie, Tazzie, Boomer and Foxie.
