Beau Hesse
Beau was born on January 21st, 2017. We welcomed Beau to his forever home on March 11th, 2017; he was found on Craigslist by one of his loving human siblings. Beau had many nicknames: Beau Boy, Beau Bo Diddley, Big Money Beau, and Smushy Face. Beau was our child (Paul & Lynn), furry brother (Madelyn & Olivia), a protector, and our best friend. Beau was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a malignant bone cancer. As a family, there were many tears every day once he was diagnosed; we were devoted to finding treatment options to extend his time with us. We said goodbye on August 19th, 2024, when he passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his humans.
Beau never said no to an adventure; he loved car rides and several road trips; he loved the dog beach and the lake and enjoyed hiking trips, ear or belly rubs, and bone marrow bones even though it gave him the runs. Beau also loved spending time with his nine cat siblings, two brothers Rocco, & Ricco, and the many foster kitties he loved and tiptoed around. Beau loved life, loved life a lot. He loved to sit on anything. Even if he didn't fit, he would sit anyway, and his humans were where he chose to sit. He was really into his Culver's pup cups and loved naps on his comfy Costco bed. We will miss him waking us up at all night hours so he can do his business. Or getting home and finding garbage all over the house because he was punishing us for leaving him home alone and not taking him with us.
The Hesse family would like to thank Dr. Iris Goldfarb for her dedication, professionalism, support, and care for Beau during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for all that you do!
Words can never fully convey the depth of our grief or the immense love we have for Beau. He was more than a pet; he was a cherished member of our family. We are grateful for the seven wonderful years we got to spend with him. Beau, we love you so much. Say hi to Rocky for us !
