“Southstreet ‘N Tongwood Attitude Is Everything

Addie peacefully left us on 5/19/26, at almost 14 years old. From the moment I saw the breeder’s puppy photo of her, with that raised eyebrow, I said “She has attitude written all over her face. I have to have her.“

She did not disappoint! She loved to play and did so every day. Always as we said, up to monkey business, stealing the remote, running off with pillows, then a dish towel, then a throw blanket, and opening the closet door to look for more. As soon as we grabbed one item from her, you could see the wheels turning and she’d go for something else. Always with that look and waiting for one of us to chase her. She kept her mommy and daddy on their toes most of the day.

The day could not really start until Addie had her walk with mommy first thing.  Addie loved lapping up the last bit of mommy’s Espresso latte.  Her ears perked up when she heard the machine turn on. I will miss my Espresso sharing pup.

Addie loved her daddy, Bill, more than anything. Waited for him to come home from work every day to go wild jumping on the sofa greeting him and smiling, and she had to sleep close to his chest almost every night, when she wasn’t behind my knees. Her nicknames were Magoo, because she always made us laugh so much, Peanut, Whiskers Malone, Nosey McGillicuddy, and Munchin. She was a fierce protector of her home, but once she got to know you, welcomed you with kisses. Addie enjoyed her trip trips to Gloucester with us every year; we will miss that so much.

Go meet Grandma, Addie, and your kitty brother Babycakes. Grandma loved you so much. Our hearts are beyond shattered, and our home will never be the same. Till we meet again, our “Monkey Business girl.” We love you forever Addie…Mommy & Daddy
